FAMILY CRISIS

One of the most devastating pieces of news a young wife and mother can receive is that her husband has cancer. In the year and half that followed until his death, I juggled the triple roles of supportive wife, mother of two young children and fulltime news photographer. The ability to express my emotions through photography helped to preserve my sanity and record some of what my family suffered through. This collection of images were created as personal art therapy in diary form and have only been published in News Photographer Magazine.
