POETRY OF LIFE

"Arcadian Landscape", Mont Saint Michel, France

My goal is to look beyond the ordinary and notice the unexpected little moments that make the journey of life worthwhile. I look for humor in unusual places, irony in the commonplace and beauty that springs from sorrow. While capturing these moments in a photograph I recognize that life is a tapestry of events woven together to form a larger picture. I may not always be able to see the whole picture from where I stand but I can put myself in harmony with the universe around me and imagine what it looks like. That’s where the poetry comes in.
